If you choose to get married here, you'll find that Murthly Castle, the garden and The Chapel of St. Anthony the Eremite is your own private space not only on your wedding day, but also in the days leading up to it.

A private family home on the edge of Highland Perthshire, there are no other visitors or events to distract us from your wedding. Exclusive access three days before your wedding gives you the time and space to set things up as you want without feeling rushed. During that time we'll make sure we get to know you and your plans properly, so as to provide a smooth-running day and a personal service.

With just 12 weddings a year taking place at the castle, each has its own character and we remember them fondly. We have no set formulas, and always endeavour to accommodate your wishes, so that you can have the wedding that you want.

Where is Murthly Castle?

The Castle is just over ten miles north of Perth, and less than five miles from Dunkeld and Birnam, where there is a huge variety of accommodation. A small, attractive settlement on the River Tay, it attracts many visitors and will add to the wedding experience for you and your guests.
