Late Wedding Bookings at Murthly Castle

We still have some availability for weddings at Murthly Castle in 2019. The Castle, the Chapel, and the Walled Garden can all be used for wedding ceremonies and receptions, whether religious, humanist or civil. With magnificent trees all along the entrance drive, the setting is hard to beat.

Fishing on the River Tay

The five-year average total for the Murthly Beats (2013-17) is 497 salmon and 40 sea trout. Book your rod now to enjoy some great fishing and even greater surroundings. Even the (fishing) weather is looking up, with more cloud cover and cooler temperatures.

Music Festivals & Concerts 

We look forward to the return of the Perthshire Amber Festival on the 2nd of November, when Dougie MacLean himself will be playing in the Chapel of St. Anthony the Eremite.
