Perthshire's Filming & Private Events Venue

Murthly Estate is ideal for TV & Film productions, with a number of indoor and outdoor period locations, as well as extensive native and exotic woodland. We have ample space for unit bases within half a mile of the castle; and for smaller bases just 200m from the castle, plus parking for over 300 vehicles. Since 2021 we have hosted three productions by Outlander LLP and The Forge Entertainment, with another production due to be filmed in Summer 2025.

For private or corporate entertainment and conferences, it's hard to beat the complete privacy of Murthly Estate with its landscaped setting and relaxed feel. The space in and around Murthly Castle is particularly special, and incorporates three reception / conference rooms; the chapel; the walled garden; and the wider castle grounds. You'll be sure to give your guests or clients a day that will linger in the memory.

The personal touch is of great importance to us. You'll be looked after by Thomas or Callum throughout, from the moment you enquire until after your stay. That way we can make sure we're on the same page as you and don't miss anything.

Our longstanding relationships with a number of local suppliers mean that we can provide for all your needs. We'll never recommend a supplier to you until we know them well and are satisfied of their quality.
